Pumpkin Patch in Dade City
Best pumpkins ever, in sizes up to 120 lbs!
Big pumpkins, giant pumpkins, itty bitty baby pumpkins... just-right pumpkins for your holiday celebrations! Decorative pumpkins, pie and baking pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks and squash.
We display our pumpkins under our pole barn to help preserve their freshness. We also have hay bales, corn stalks and gourds for decorating, and our train runs on weekends until dusk, weather permitting.
Pumpkin Varieties
Carving, pie and decorative pumpkins
Blue Jarrahdale
Flattened like Cinderella but light blue-grey and deeply ribbed. This Australian heirloom is a cross between the Blue Hubbard and the Cinderella, with golden, mildly sweet flesh. Some say it's the best pumpkin for pumpkin pies.
Cinderella
Deep red to orange, flattened and deeply ribbed. Introduced to the US in 1883, it's rumored to be the prototype for Cinderella's pumpkin carriage. Excellent for decor and stacking, with semi-sweet flesh that's good for pies.
Red Warty
A cross with a Red Hubbard that's more squash-like than pumpkin-like. Richly warted red skin and sweet, stringless flesh, better for eating than carving. Very decorative, and grows up to 20 lbs.
